Notes from the vineyard is a light hearted continuing update of our current vintage, whats happening, wine maker comments, workers whinging, good news bad news, mishaps, bouquets, hungrey birds, pests, hard work and wonderful fruit.

CURRENT UPDATE
After another tough year trying to second guess weather conditions around vintage, I'm pleased to say our Vineyard manager Jenny Bright along with Company Director Deidre Broad who is responsible for overall vineyard operations got it right pulling the fruit off literally hours before yet another vintage thunderstorm that would have seen us lose our Shiraz and probably Merlot fruit. All white and red fruit now safely in the hands of wine maker Gary Reed.
